Some utter cunts broke in last night (we think) and lifted the Puch.

Have spent the afternoon trying to make the workshop more secure and have moved the JAPton somewhere secure, (hopefully), and bought more security for the Rockster, but it's a wooden shed, there's only so much that can be done in an afternoon.

Will probably get more security soon, but I'm seriously hoping they were just chancers on their way home or similar. Next door also had their cars emptied, but they were silly enough to leave them open, apparently.

Really sorry to hear about that mate. The scrotes that took it probably just saw knobbly tyres and general off-road capability and thought 'I'm having that' - little shits. Being such a rare beast they'll probably find it hard to move on, so don't give up hope yet. Are there any well known places local to you where these types are known to hang out? I'd check those out if so (preferably carrying a long range sniper rifle)...

I'm hoping they were just opportunists working up the road. They also lifted a purse from next door's car (left open, the idiots), which we found in the hedgerow just by our gateway, it appears they only took cash from that. (I think).

I'm now just very worried that they'll tell on about the other stuff in the shed to someone a bit more up the food chain.

The countryside does seem to attract a particular breed of scrote - just ask a farmer about stuff that gets nicked, livestock, vehicles, diesel etc etc. Makes the rural idyll sound like a bit of a nightmare, particularly in places like the Peaks with biggish cities in van distance.

Mind you, some farmers aren't above stealing off the others or buying the stolen stuff either.

The little wanker that nicked my X-ADV just used it as his own mode of transport. When I got it back it had a quadlock and bar muffs on it. He literally bypassed the immobiliser and stuck a cloned plate of another Honda on it and just used it as his daily transport! I almost admired his cheek in one way, but was angry that hapless fecks like that, who cant earn a living decided to have the same spoils by helping themselves to other peoples!

This is why I have 3 very nasty, very large dogs and a load of CCTV. That way I can watch any scrotes getting savaged in HD.

None. I went up to the nearby canal last week to have a look and see if anything could be seen, but if it was there, it wasn't visible.

The implement they left is being DNA tested though, we should hear if they've found anything in a couple of weeks.
