Also, one last thing, Potter, not a bad guy, but pull the other one, you’re one of the many who make homophobic comments, often seen talking about ‘bumming’ ‘bummer’ ‘bumming hat’ - all goes ok as far as the rules are concerned.
That's in no way homophobic. Most anal sex takes place between men and women.
If that is the case then it would not be surprising given that perhaps 97% of the population identify as heterosexual leaving 3% of the population identifying as lesbian or gay or bisexual or other non-heterosexual orientation.

Someone posted a sort of poem, about Iccy wearing a bumming hat. The mythical bumming forum followed on. That’s the first I remember about the headwear.

IIRC the ONS says significantly fewer than that in the UK are heterosexual. Not that it really matters.

I was quoting 2021 census data.

https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/three- ... 023-01-06/
LONDON, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Around 3% of people in England and Wales aged 16 or over identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual, according to 2021 census data released on Friday.
...
The questions about sexual orientation and gender identity were voluntary, and 7.5% of people declined to answer about their sexual orientation, while 6.0% did not answer the question on gender identity.

Back when I was in comp, our RE teacher told us that one in 30 people were gay... it was a class of 30 students, hence lots of finger pointing.

This was probably 1991ish.

I'd assume it's higher now, not because there's more homosexuals, but because more people are willing tick the box, it's not as stigmatised now.

That Census data also says west Wales is Hella Gay.

I kinda expected London, Brighton etc sure, but I'm surprised by that. Nothing else to add here, just didn't expect it!

It is obvious that most people do not understand that the human species is dimorphic with only about 0.018% of the population being so-called 'intersex', neither do they understand that biological sex is immutable.

Is 'sex' the same as 'gender'?

Sex means something definite, in relation to people.

Gender doesn’t really.

And the unfortunate sufferers from the disorders which you archaically call intersex, are all either male or female.

Male or female, not both, not neither and not in between.

Gender depends on what's between your legs, sex is what you do with it.

I said "so-called 'intersex'" rather than "DSD" because (in the context in which it was used) the former term was far more likely to be understood than "DSD".
