20mph: Wales first UK nation to drop speed limit from 30mph

I did a driver awareness course recently and the host informed us that England and Wales would all have a 20mph urban limit within 3years. Looks like she may well be right...

I say lower it even further, why not 10mph? We can save even more lives and feel even safer.

I guess its a population density thing, as cars have got safer with better tyres, more powerful brakes, ABS etc?

They seemed to have all slowed down to 30 round here. It really is not all that bad but then i am not trying to navigate from one side of a city to another.

The problem is, no one can drive at 20mph, those who try are useless at it.
