Haha, yes, they are a proper cracker-oner's bike. As owned by canny lads who work down the clutch fitting depot, have many pirate sized gold earrings and are just in it for t'craic.

I can't do anything until December at the earliest and it's £300 a day for labour.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 9:25 pmCan you fit me in next week for living room paint and feature wall papering?MyLittleStudPony wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 9:23 pmI had an FZR1000 and I'm all Channel Four talking and shitting good degrees and full of myself like one of Tolkein's High Elves!KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 9:04 pm

I ended up taking the steering damper off cos we were doing some engine work and it was a total PITA to have t keep removing it to lift the tank. It was even better without that!!mangocrazy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 8:16 pm
Yeah, has to be a '97 - mine was and it was genuinely mentalist. I knew a guy who made F1 exhausts and he made me a full system with titanium cans and that bike was a rocketship. I was quite offended when they pulled me in for a recall and fitted a fuck ugly steering damper. That got binned very quickly...
Soooooo many people told me it was dangerous not to have it fitted
I went to Le Mans 24h in 2003 with some friends - I'd go again, but at least now I know I won't be able to sleepmangocrazy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 8:16 pm Know what you mean about the French and bikes. I've never been to the Bol d'Or, but I know you can't expect to get any sleep for just that reason...
