Cooked Chinese Takeaway for four

Drank fizzy wine

Drank rosé

Went to bar to watch rugby - played pool first (we won!!)

Drank dark rum and lemonade

More rum and lemonade

He collected the award at the hospital a few hours later, they just posted that he carked it. The scene of the detonation apparently looked like a bloodbath. & judging by the dent in the helmet it probably broke his neck from the recoil.

It seems to be 'a thing' on Instagram. Motorcycles+fireworks. What could possibly go wrong?

Saw one where the bloke had 2 mega-roman candles/mortars strapped to the rear end. Riding along a dark highway going kaboom every few seconds. As long as they only delete themselves *shrug*

Yesterday - I went to see my winter boss. Had a good chat. Told him the hours I wanted to work (office and driving) and the wages I want - start on 2nd October.

That's better money and more time off than any other job I've looked at up here and starting approx 2.5 months sooner.

I'm very happy :bblonde:

Today my car passed its MOT but my eyes failed theirs! Apparently, my eyes don't meet the legal requirement and I need to wear glasses to drive now! New glasses time!

Was pressure washing the path in the front yard as the concrete has a shallow dip in the center which causes dirt to accumulate & makes it like an ice rink when it's wet...

Then I had the brilliant idea to attach the U shaped extension & see if I could blow any debris out of the gutters...

Next time I'll do this from the roof, not the front yard...

Amazing 5 hour enduro today and found some new trails and we found a way to get to the most northerly place on the island. None of had been there before. The views were stunning. These photos don't really do it justice

There's more debris these days because of climate change. ;)

Downloaded the software update from Ford for the Explorer ST to my computer.
Unzipped the files & transferred them to a USB doodad.
Gassed up the ST, plugged in the USB & took a drive along the fault line while it uploaded to the ST.
Upload successful, Fixed the cascading clusterfuck that came with the previous update.

Server migration went well yesterday so managed a couple of extra jobs whilst it was quiet. Got rid of all the old pc's that were clogging up the server room(filled a mondeo!), tidied up the patch cables in the switches, had about 20 redundant ones :wtf: and changed the air filter on the car, which has the remains of a bird nest in the intake, how the duck it was still running I have no idea

Dont worry. Daughters are like homing pigeons.

But get used to that trip, it will not be the first time you drive from Chez Gremlin to the Uni. DAMHIKT.

I must be a heartless bastard then, I was glad to see mine go. I still did/do regular trips to see them but no sadness from me when they left.

Including frequent short notice trips from here to Falmouth.
