Hmmm. Dunno.
I'll sit on the fence on this one.
Has it got a brake light? The mounting arrangement for those tiny rear indicators looks pretty industrial.

Indicators probably pull double duty as brake lights

It's a lot like a CB1000R, why not just buy a CB1000R?

To be honest if you hadn't told me it was a custom, I wouldn't have given it a second glance.

Nah. It's all a bit 'why did he bother'. Those twin exhausts are just plain silly and should be thrown in the crusher as soon as. And why not keep the airbox? There's nothing particularly special about pod filters, plus they probably cock up the fuelling. And the width of the bars plus bar end mirrors would mean filtering is all but impossible.
Thumbs down from me.

Not as offensive as most but as with nearly all these 'customs' I do wonder what does it add to the party?

All IL4s look a bit silly with pod filters.
I hadn't realised how horrid the stock tank is - like a squashed mushroom - no tank needs to be wider than the engine it's sat on top of.

The OE frame on the 600 is a big square box that takes a big chunk of space that would normally be used by the tank - that's why the Hornet tank is quite wide at the front. It still doesn't hold much fuel though, which is one reason for the bike's notoriously short range.
If the 1000 doesn't have the same frame design - and I'm sure someone will tell me soon enough - then the tank simply keeps the family style.
It also appears to be tipped forward slightly from the OE design.

Mmmm
Minimalist, check
Crud catcher rear end plate, check
Small screen, check
Tiny indicators, check
Some people just have no imagination!
