Me neither,unless you put a cheap plastic waterproof over it all.
It ain't a thing for me now,but it's pretty shit when you spend good money to buy waterproof gear and it never is. Some things never change with bike gear.
Let's be fair, 300 miles on a wet motorway is a VERY severe test. I doubt any fabric made can be completely waterproof for that, add in some seams and a bit of wear..... An oversuit takes the worst, it leaks a little, and the real kit takes care of the leaks.
As mentioned above, our laminated kit never leaked and it included some long, very wet journeys on motorways/autoroutes. The only water incursion was at the neck and that just meant a wet Buff. The down side was it cost multo £££ - but was worth every penny.
Never had any problems with the BMW oversuit either but that was really only for summer use over the airflow gear.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition.
But certainty is an absurd one.

My laminated waterproofs have never leaked. However, modern technical fabrics need care to remain effective (keeping them clean with a warm damp cloth or Tech Wash, etc.). Otherwise, they lose their magical waterproof powers and breathability.

I had a BMW oversuit (horrible yellow one). It eventually leaked, the seat seam failed and I got VERY wet indeed! It was over a summer suit, and water tricked down my legs and filled my boots!
Seems Oxford have released a Mondial 2, interestingly they haven't upgraded it to AA rating which I find odd as that would have been a natural upgrade I'd have thought.

I find it odd, too, especially as Oxford’s one of the manufacturers that’s taken the ratings the most seriously.

The jacket seemed woefully short on vents compared with some others, but I have been quite impressed. Vents may be few, but they seem to be sited so that thay actually work. No 35 dgree test so far, but I am impressed. Trousers seem no better or worse than others, might work better on a FF cruiser.

I still have my HG Goretex 2-piece suit (Master V, IIRC, with the 'lockout' silicon zip). Washed in the Goretex proofer once a year and still waterproof after all these years.

Shame they disappeared from the High Street.
Only suit I've ever had that was fully waterproof was a H-G Goretex one, had salopettes instead of normal trousers - lovely suit.....
Wore it on a 30C ride last week. With a cooling vest underneath the top half was fine, the trousers were a bit warm though. Vents are ok but more/bigger would be better.
Off to Spain at the end of the month and I am torn between taking the Hinterland kit (which IS waterproof) or the older suit which uses a drop liner but has excellent vents if it is dry.
I wore my Mondial last week when it was 33c on Thursday. TBH it was flippin hot but I don't think any amount of vents would have helped much at that temp as the air was hot even at 90mph. But to be fair the vents worked well prior to about 12.15 and worked well on Thursday when it was a little cooler (29c) and I came home earlier. They certainly do flow air, I just think when it's silly hot that air might be hot too. The Mondial has 2 big tit flap vents which Velcro back though which I don't think the Hinterland has, but given the Hinterland having a higher rating I couldn't recommend the Mondial over it. In hindsight on Thursday I should of done the Yank trick of soaking my t-shirt in water so the windblast cools even when its hot.
I also tested the waterproofing back in June for the first time since I've owned it, so 2 possibly 3 years! I thought it might have leaked in the crook of the arms but when I stopped I was dry, so I think it's wear the outer was cold from m'way windblast and rain.
I have a specialist cooling gillet that really works. IIRC I got it from Amazon, works like a wet T shirt but without the cold shock and lasts much longer.
What it doesnt do is cool my legs. I need cooling pants too.
