Maybe bikes are like jokes, if they're good the first time, they're not less good just because you've heard them before.
FWIW I think that 'power band' bike looks .

That headlight is gopping, and not just on that bike.

The headlight is like something from the 1950s film War of the Worlds

The headlight? It's round, with lights in, mounted in the fairing.

Not really a forerunner to the Africa Twin as the engines are significantly different.MyLittleStudPony wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 6:14 pm Honda XLV750. I had no idea they existed.

See so many of these light units on 125cc "cafe racers" also fitted with the obligatory brown seat (courtesy of Wish or Alibaba). When fitted to any large cc bike, it ruins them for me because of that connection.Count Steer wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 1:01 pm The headlight? It's round, with lights in, mounted in the fairing.

Getting a big, (top) heavy lump like that Laverda onto a paddock stand on gravel would have been fun to watch, but not to do.
