And people complain about Biden?

For the second time in just over a month, Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell appeared to freeze while speaking to reporters.
At a press event in Covington, Kentucky, the 81-year-old paused for more than 30 seconds when asked whether he would run for-re-election in 2026.
Aides attempted to prompt the senator, but it took several more seconds for Mr McConnell to recover.
He then answered two more questions, which had to be repeated by staff.

Bollocks, I wasn't pissed off until you suggested the identification thingPotter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 2:45 pmYou should identify as female, book a cruise, suggest voting Tory and say a kind word about rich people, you'd piss off nine out of every ten people that post hereweeksy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 2:11 pmThose little dozen or so posts made me cringe, laugh and almost cry all at once.
Over on another forum there's discussions about coffee machines, beard waxing, you know all that hipster middle class bollox... then the 'working man' on here gets slammed for going on a cruise... even though they've probably spent more on the cruise than most of you lot have on their motorbikes. But being 'British' and more accurately 1980s British, is now very much frowned upon on here it seems... All far far too superior for that.

Defence figures, speaking on condition of anonymity, have given the appointment of Grant Schapps a mixed reaction.
While some bemoan his lack of military experience compared to his predecessor Ben Wallace, who served in the Scots Guards, others say Schapps may have some advantages on his side.

I think Devo got it right when the band formed in '73 - they took their name from the De-evolution movement that believed, based on observation, that evolution was going backwards. Politics seems not to undermine the proposition.Cousin Jack wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 2:33 pm What is it about US politicians? All the ones with any power are geriatric and gaga. Corruption is rife. They are a product being sold to the mindless mob with extreme advertising/political support from the corporate entities who are controlling their activities.Cousin Jack wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 2:33 pm What is it about US politicians? No sane, rational thinking, person believes a man can become a woman just because he says so. No one really feels the need to call a woman a "birthing person" or has any problem defining what the difference is between the only two genders on Gods Earth.
ESG is the tool which is enabling all this diversity, equity, inclusion bollocks. That and carbon footprint, LGBTQI+, BLM, Antifa minority madness which has infected the entire world with some sort of mass hysteria. ESG is being used as a pathway to totalitarianism. Denying the individual the right to voice an opinion which is counter to the enforced narrative. Speak against it and you will be punished. Not by the vocal minority but by the shady cabal of big tech and corporate interests which have spotted an opportunity to take control of nominally "democratic" society by inventing new "laws" with which they can punish dissenters.

Yes. 100% or to be precise 99.99% to account for intersex genetic defects (although in each and every case, those unfortunate few will actually have a defined gender based on their chromosomes).weeksy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 3:02 pmUmmmmm errrrrrm are you absolutely SURE ?Screwdriver wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2023 2:55 pm or has any problem defining what the difference is between the only two genders on Gods Earth.

How people wish to BEHAVE is entirely up to the individual and if a bloke wants to wear a dress, well it takes all sorts. But to then insist that I have to not only accept that sort of behaviour but actively moderate my own behaviours or celebrate their mental illness - well that's where I draw the line.
This will not end well for me and I appreciate that. The world has gone mad and I refuse to join in with any of this woke bollocks.
