Ah, the old "have a cup of tea dear" in 1972's Derry (or Londonderry if Derry causes offence ). Old soldiers would tell you about the cups of tea with ground glass in them but it was a load of bollox, ground glass just sinks to the bottom. What else might have been in the tea though was anybody's guess.

Step Daughter should be landing in Edinburgh by now. Flight cancelled and next one home would be 2am. She is now on a train and i have to pick her up at 10pm.
