I don't like the cruiser styling of the Meteor, but I'd be quite happy with the HNTR 350 (the matt blue and white one).

Hunters OK, bit modern looking maybe, I like the classic look for my enfield fix.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
To be fair, it was pleasant cruising on an empty road across Dartmoor at 35-40 mph. On fast roads just about everything was faster, including some trucks. On twisty roads the gearchange is dire.
The cruiser styling is horrible, the feet forward bit feels weird and made my back ache. The heel and toe change is an abomination, and the sidestand is hard to find, your foot finds the centrestand but that was never going to work while sat on the bike. Oh yes, it vibrates, enough that I had to stop twice to screw up the mirror before it fell off. You get used to the blurred mirrors, but I draw the line at them swinging through 30 degrees in the breeze.
Surprisingly the dealer reckons they sell well, no accounting for taste. At least I appreciate the CB500f a bit more.

Wouldn't be my choice of steed to go onto a moor, but then I have adventure bikes in my DNA...

I quite like adventure bikes, the problem is that I don't have adventure bike sized legs. Riding is not a problem, sudden stops are1

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
I've just been out for a bimble after changing the fork oil yesterday,no drama's everything good.Last week the front felt like it was 'pattering at the beginining of the stroke' on the small deformations to the road surface, now it feels smooth.I haven't checked the sag with the new oil,but going off todays ride it's a improvement. That's a win in my book
The tractor boys are busy at the momment, all their toys are getting used & those combines take up all the road, extra caution required.

Got the Puch tyres fitted by someone who know what they're doing....
So obviously i took a nice 90 minute ride there and back again.

Short ride out on the local lanes, well lush and overgrown in places.

I really like those sorts of mornings.

Early away today,as the rain returns for the weekend.
I finally managed to hit the 20k mark. If it hadn't been pissing from the middle of June it would have been a lot earlier.

Now that's a classic 350 road if I've ever seen one

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
After fitting the Top Yoke conversion to the SV650 I made some minor adjustments to the ergonomics & went out for a spin.I think this angle shows the conversion best
Lovely evening out there but in places the sky is going dark, the farmers are burning the stubble & it's proper breezy, looks like something from a 'slash & burn' news reel in places .
As people might have guessed,I really enjoy this bike, been a bit of a revelation & this bar conversion makes me like it even more
