Where can I source front dampers for my 96 Toyota import camper conversion
Any ideas? Anyone do bespoke dampers for something like this? It's a Toyota Town Ace Noah. There are only about five in the country - still quite a few in NZ though.

Thought Town Ace was only a variant on Hi-Ace? No part numbers to Google?

Looking at pictures on Google the van version was sold in the UK, I think it was called a Hi Ace in the UK, I've certainly seen them about

Australian Ebay often throws up decent results for my Hiace, might be worth a look.

It's one of these... Townace Noah https://www.auto-data.net/en/toyota-tow ... atic-31132
Model code SR40G
I can find the front dampers in Japan, but they won't quote me on delivery till I order. So I am guessing it'll be horrible.

They have the same general shape but the Toyota is not related. It's very different from the Bongo / Friendee... trust me on that, I've rented a Bongo.
Check the shape of the B pillar, and the location of the fuel filler.

Re: Where can I source front dampers for my 96 Toyota import camper conversion
Well I found one on.autodoc but he's ignoring me?
I found a wiki page that said bongo too. Just because it looks different on the top doesn't mean it isn't the same platform.
Think golf, A3, beetle, seat, Skoda etc
However I think it's actually the samw biw in this instance.

There's a camper dealer on Hayling Island that sells that sort. Grey Imports etc. They may be able to help, give them a call or pop over, https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j ... i=89978449
