Wonder what people make of this especially in light of recent events where banks can silence political activists by taking away access to your own finances. Our modern connected world has just handed them too much power.

But regardless of whatever the pro's and con's of CBDC, if fucking Bill Gates is involved, I don't want it. He is a prize cunt of the highest order. He has been involved in many of our worlds most recent problems. Funding gain of research, controlling vaccine dispersals, silencing critics, bankrolling the WEF and the fucking WHO as if they are his personal playthings. It's too much of a coincidence that he just keeps popping up wherever some cunt is making gigantic sums out of other peoples suffering.

We digress, these are all all ngo's, all vying for greater control and authority over you and me. All they have to do is pay off the right politicians...

Indeed, how can 'they' not... they know i used my card in Tesco the other day.... What they learn from that, apart from the obvious bits, i don't really know. They won't know i was at Silverstone as we never used cards, but they'd know we were booked on the day... Again, what 'they' could do with that information, heck knows.

my bank knows every payment in and out of my account, that's kinda how it all works. But i don't expect they're doing anything with that information.

Even from the cell connections from our mobile phones, they know where we are at any moment.

They'll know I spend most of my money in Aldi, Tesco, Screwfix etc......they are in the know.

If you use anything like a Clubcard, Tesco (or whomever else) sell your (anonimised) spending habit data to anyone who wants it so they can work out where to advertise, what to stock and where etc. etc.

Your bank monitors your spending habits to work out if you are a good person to target a loan advert at and that sort of thing. They also check for financial stress (I.e. always going overdrawn, suddenly switching to a different supermarket, cutting back on takeaways) which helps them with their mortgage calculations and things of that nature.

Is that a bad thing? Not sure really...people always speak with a kind of fondness about how old fashioned bank managers judged your suitability for a mortgage and the like. Would you rather it was still some guy, with a guy's inevitable prejudice and bias, making these sorts of decisions?

And why would any of that bother anyone ?

A bank manager even 50+ years ago would have looked at your account to see if you were doing OK, as would the very in-depth credit check/report they perform at the time.. Advertising is by its very nature targetted to an audience to increase turnover of the company, whether it's specifically tailored to an individual or not is of little importance.

The thing that makes me (and it's a very hollow) laugh about all this is that however much they can hoover up all our data and know exactly what brand of underpants and baked beans we buy, when it comes to money in the £billions 'they' can't/won't do a thing about 'dirty' money. Want to buy a £40m gaff in London Mr Oligarch? Come in, take a seat. When would you like to take possession? Siphoned off a few bob from blood diamonds money in your corrupt little fiefdom? Come in my good chap we'll have your account up and running in no time.

In a similar vein I was talking to one of my colleagues the other day about savings interest and tax. His argument was that's not gonna declare/pay it because "I'm too small for them to notice"...my counterargument is "you're exactly the sort of person they'd notice because it's so easy to catch you".

Being loose with the truth is one thing, when it comes to the small guy's tax declarations. Going off the radar is another thing entirely. As is big swings in declarations. But this isn't anything new, to some extent they were doing this, less effectively on paper decades ago.

Yes you can, it's really not difficult unless you are stupid or rude.

Hollow laugh: WE demanded that something must be done about fraud, drug money etc so THEY did something. It's turns out that what THEY doesn't suit us. Now there's a huge great big surprise with bells, whistles and a klaxon on top.
