I certainly wouldn't buy one because of Tuono, Pegaso, Mille and even RSV4/TuonoV4 issues mates have had. None of the Aprilias either myself or mates have owned have ever been 100%.... Then again, not many bikes are.. but Aprilias seem more delicate to me and they'd have to spend a year or 2 proving to me that's not the case with this before it'd even be a consideration.
I think I'd risk an RSV4, but unlikely it would ever happen as I'd rather have a Ducati

I watched the Bennetts review on youtube last night and it sounded good. But there are LOTS of electronics on it which did make me wince a bit as there is a lot to go wrong beside any engine issues. KTM scare me enough I'm not sure I'm brave enough for an Prilla as I've heard to many stories as well.

Great if buying new and dealt with quickly.... Nightmare if the bike is off the road for weeks and months at a time.

Very true. Ownership could be short and brand new is a must.

He's a northerner, he can't help it. :D :D

He's another Ex Racer and MAg journalist though.

He likes it. Wants a "factory version though as its not full on sports bike in the suspension dept etc..

Well no, but it's not supposed to be is it? It's as they say, bridging the gap in the market. Like the mt07, the KTM 790 etc.

That popped up in my youtube feed but not had a chance to watch it yet.

With the new bloke it's gonna be awkward as Fagin/BVG had established themselves so any change is going to be odd. Doesn't help Fagin smashing himself up though. Having said that Mossy fits well in the bits he does.

My local 'Prilla stealership Via Moto (where I got my Guzzi) have posted on Friendface the uncrating of their first two 660's.

They say £10,149 OTR and that there's going to be some 'highly competitive' PCP deals (I'm going to guess 0%).

No yellow one, just a Black and a Blue.

Personally never had issues with my Mille, although it did run hot if stuck in traffic, so it was pretty rapidly removed from commuting duty. I also had a 750 Dorsoduro that apart from its pathetic fuel range, was a well built and reliable bike (at least up to 20,000 miles when I moved it on and bought a Guzzi V1200 Sport (now done over 40,000 miles without major issues).

No need for the new Aprilia now-my Street Triple and Enfield Himalayan do 95% of what I need from a bike now. A dedicated track bike would do the other 5% but it's just not worth the investment.

https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/ ... ovic-dyno/

On the Akrapovic dyno, the Aprilia RS 660 makes just a hair over 95hp in stock trim (and 97.4hp with just the addition of a free-flowing pipe).

The graphics are a bit garish for my tastes, but I bet it's a hoot to ride.

Looks like they just fitted higher bars and removed half the fairing.

Do not want.
