Imola WSBK

Post by Skub »

First races with the altered rev limits.

Toprak and JR are very close in first practice and ominously for the competition Bautista is 3rd fastest on a track he doesn't particularly enjoy and has yet to win at.

It's hot,hot hot apparently.

Second rpm change this season for them both.

Next possible change will be after the 9th round.

Alvaro has safety concerns regarding Imola,so maybe he'll be more cautious this weekend.

Anyone else see Gabriele Ruiu's suit when he crashed in FP2?

Another go at a textile one-piece but this actually looked quite decent.

If it’s as flexible as it looks with the protection of leather then the sidecar crews will be all over it as the passengers are always looking for as much flexibility as possible. I have seen a few versions of Kevlar suits over the years but they always seem to go back to the leather option

Eurospt 2 is showing a highlights of the day at 4.30 - 5.30. It looks like tennis has killed the bike live stuff.

I take that back, watching the race just now and there is no commentary, just the sound of the bikes, what the actual fuck.

They’ll probably fix it at some point before the days out, every race weekend they fuck up something. Last time when you clicked on WSBK superpole it kept coming up with free practise 3. They did sort it a few hours later.

I'm half glad I couldn't get it this year!!

But next year I WILL have a VPN and get to watch the BSB, and the WSB!! The BSB is the one I want to see cos a mate sponsors a couple of riders in the supporting races :D
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

The superbike race was fine for me, no commentary on the super sport race.
