I love it but I can only buy it once a month, and even then the smallest jar I can find, because I'll be stuck in a cycle of making toast smothered in the stuff every two hours until the jar is gone.
Slapped on thick slices of apple is my go to snack.

Has to be Whole Earth crunchy, mind.
Not Sun-Pat? :wtf: Who is this young usurper you speak of!!
I'm a Sun-Pat Crunchy man, but I had my head turned by Meridian as it was on special offer.

What ever you do, DO NOT buy Meridian Peanut butter. It was wet, really wet, very oily. It doesn't sit on the bread it soaks in, it's just WRONG!

I stirred it thinking it had separated and the oil was sat on the top, but it was like that all the way through the jar.

The all natural / organic / yogurt weaving ones all are, and surprisingly are supposed to be too, I went through a phase looking for something other than sun-pat but couldn't find one that wasn't oily, so yep sun-pat crunchy is my go to.

He cut me up at a roundabout, then follows me into Sainsburys. He starts babbling and i dismiss him and walk off and do my shopping... Come out and he's keyed 2/3 of the length of the van !!!

I goes see security who directs me to the manager "we don't have any cameras in the car-park"..... so i says "ok, he came in after me, the parking thing that shows reg plates, can you see who came in next".... "no we can't.... but if you want to make a complaint...."

What's the fucking point in complaining... GRRRRR.

That should be more than a 'little' BYP, but to be honest, i don't really stress too much over things i can't affect. So i've mostly moved on.

I got the Transit Blue touch up on it, it's not perfect, but by the time i finish with the van it'll be a 120,000 mile van and it won't knock the value by the amount it'd cost me to repair fully.

Bought, what I thought was a u/s Tomtom truck/hgv unit.
It was sent to the daughters place in the UK awaiting pick up. Wifey gets back yesterday, i whip the front off, slot a front off another unit i have lurking around, get it up and running and.............its a normal one.
Too late to send back/negative fb, a bit pissed off tbh.
Look into it but i am sure TomTom can use HERE maps. I can give you a full set of European Truck Here maps (Link to download from my google drive) But you may need the truck option in the Vehicle section of your TT software. You can get a 7" Xgody Truck sat nav for around 50 quid new what rind iGO Primo software and Here Maps.

Should have chinned the cunt for chasing after you into the shop. Self defence officer, i was fearing for my life. Or at least drag him outside and chin him. Allegedly no cameras outside.

There's lots of ways i could have handled it differently, but in truth, until that moment i thought i'd handled it OK and not got shirty with him. Clearly he felt differently about it than me. But i can't go back in time and resolve it now, so i've got to accept it.

To give the touch-up paint it's due, it's done an ace job. But it's an 8' or a 12' job, not a 6" job.

Whether i shell out with a Chips Away type company for a repair mostly depends on cost of repair, after all, i'm going to be running this van for quite a while and it's unlikely to be the only mark on it at resale

Just change the event that caused it: it was an unexpected branch sticking out of the hedge when you lost control on a slippery knarly back lane in the woods while you were tazzing home from a race. :)

Its the modern way to deal with things: change the narrative. ;)

I asked a friend to bring me some whole earth back but he doesn't really do supermarkets it seems (couldn't find a magazine for me cos the supermarkets near him don't do that one! )

He brought Meridian (I'd said just bring a crunchy version without sugar in it!). It's just  I'm trying to use it up in cooking, but I don't use a lot of peanut butter apart from on toast!!

Sadly, I've had to stop asking people to bring it back as the last person brought me smooth stuff - Whole Earth, but smooth :( :(

Whole Earth Crunchy is definitely worth a go :D

Its not so much for the maps, just the ability to put in vehicle size/weight and not get too many surprises.
Also, I have loads of very useful (to me) poi stored on other TT devices which I could import and not have to fanny about with 2 units.

I know I'm getting to be a grumpy old man and two recent incidents evidence this:

I'm at an open-air concert, having stood about for a few hours to see Nile Rodgers and Chic. As soon as he comes on, the bloke stood in front of me shoves his phone in the air to start recording it, so I can see fuck all except his arms and phone. I ask him politely to put his arms down. He does. For 5 fucking minutes. I ask again. He does. At this point, the wise and gracious Mrs. G. moves us subtly to the right so that the situation is defused.

This morning I stop for petrol. I go in to pay and the bloke in front of me asks for a salted caramel latte, a normal latte and a cappuccino. FFS. I politely ask if I might pay before the bloke behind the counter does his 20 minute barista duties. I make a point of using garages with pay-at-pump whenever I can now, as I invariably get caught behind somebody doing their weekly shop or ordering half a dozen coffee flavoured drinks.

You need negotiation skills

The latter complaint I hear often, but if that's what the shop sells then that's what the shop are selling the man at the time innit? It's not only car fuel they sell.

But maybe the company running the garage should either offer pay at pump or a queue/till specifically for people who only want to buy fuel! I get that they are trying (have succeeded?) to put the corner shops out of business but TBF, if I just stop for fuel quickly I really don't want to stand behind someone waiting to pay for their weekly shop or some fancy doodah coffees!! :)

I don't even want to stand behind someone buying a raft of comedy coffees in a coffee shop tbh.

Then when I'm in Tesco I don't want to be behind anyone not buying what I'm buying. It's a shop which no longer sells only one thing.

Fortunately the till staff in Tescos don't bugger off for 10 minutes to make drinks involving ice and syrup etc. (Well they didn't last time I went into one, but it's a while ago).

Have you been in a 'coffee shop' recently?

Coffee is no longer coffee, it has a bewildering array of ingredients that have to be mixed with loving care, and every order contains at least 3 varieties which have to be crafted separately. Order a full breakfast cooked to order, it will take less time
