E-Bike : I was the biggest cynic there was ..
But they are brilliant - my first real ride ever on one - up to Cissbury, Chanctonbury , then down the Lion Trial - it was a complete revelation.
The Trek Rail is kind of a tonka toy than will ride over anything ..
Negatives - the brakes need bedding in, the front end feel like it might wash out as you start to climb - but that is selection go mode / tyre pressures. The weight low down does weight the front - with a very different feeling. It's a Trek
The positives - my knees feel ok - and I am quite tempted to go out tomorrow ! And I love the colour

Agree on the brakes, mine have bedded in nicely now, still quite a long lever movement but I guess thats the way they are.
I followed the Trek trailhead set up for the forks, 88 psi, I think thats too much. Will drop it bit by bit until I'm using all the travel, the extra weight on the front does gives huge grip, running 25 psi in the std tyre.
Laughed at the Tonka toy analogy, the weight means it just ploughs over/through everything.
