The 2025 Buell Super Cruiser...

Image

... displays elements borrowed from the cruiser and sportbike designs: low seat height, set-back riding position, and elongated rake that provides sleek aesthetics distinctive to cruisers. However, it also features liquid cooling for the V-twin engine along with mid-position foot controls that bring in a sportier edge new to typical cruisers.

Does this mean Erik has finally given up on sports bikes?

Back wheel aside, that's lovely.

I was loaned one for a day when something was being fixed on my Husky 610, it was a nice bike to ride, softer, heavier and slower than the Husky, but it was easier to ride and had to be more reliable

Not often you see two 6-potters together, let alone all 3.

Especially when one of them is a one-off!

A CBX1000 parked up at Alguena on Sunday.

Rather tatty close up, which seemed to indicate it is ridden often.

About a minute later, leaving the car park, another CBX1000 turned directly in front of me. This one was no less than a Nico Bakker. Fantastic looking and sounding, but gone before I could grab a photo.

How was it?

I had a late night on Saturday and didn't get too early on Sunday, there's always next year.

It was very good. I got there at about 09.45 and it was very busy, 15 minutes before the first race started. Managed to find somewhere in the shade to spectate from.

Bit difficult to find where I could cross the track, but I now have a better idea of the layout for next year.

No crashes where I was watching from, although the straw bales took a battering. The 80cc GP Class was really good, some very quick riders.

The last race at 2pm (supermoto) was red flagged after 4 laps, but not seen any reports locally of a serious injury.

I'll be back next year, but I'll get there earlier, and will have more of an idea of how to access all parts of the course on foot.
