Re: What have you done today thread?
Cycling to pub Thursday night and foot slipped off pedal an toe nail was ripped right back. Didn't see the blood till morning.
Yesterday was too busy with all day BBQ so went today.
Doctor kept spraying cold stuff on to ease the pain as she prodded. Then a bug spray, "count to three" and a big tug and it was off. Farking ouch
Then she asked if I wanted an injection for the pain
Was in and out in 15 mins

Had bike serviced today in Newtown mid Wales. Took some bike shots.
Tracer and xsr 700 look pretty tidy imo. Also liking the V strom for that style. Quite like 2020 colour 900 tracer, especially light grey. couple of gsxxsis, and a very nice breakfast was had.
Pissed down on the way home.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Just had a shock 4 days working.. Woke up this morning just before 5, feeling a bit of a suffering barstard, had a lazy morning catching up with a few little jobs and drinking tea. A mate popped in who seemed delighted his wife was recoving from an op on the throat and aslo that she isnt supposed to speak unless its important.. This afternoon I sorted out the leaking corsa. Turns out body filler is not suitable for repairing a flexible rubber seal. And silicon is not suitable for repairing windscreen seals that have fallen out. Especially if there is zero prep done. Got soaked putting tools away, lit the fire, had a massive fry up and just now, starting to feel a bit more human.

Just got back from a brief spin on the 900 - haven't ridden it in a couple of weeks - I'm trying to cycle to work ATM and the NC is my everyday bike.
Fired it up and blast me bor the exhaust is still loud .
25 yr old Honda reliable as anything (will now fail to start or leave me stranded the next time I take it out)
Sunny day in London but starting to get colder

Rode the K to Church. Frightened some little poodle on the way there, parked up and then let the congregation members oooh and aaah over it. Funnily enough I was at another Church last week and the heating engineer who came onsite proclaimed "very nice bike vicar!", I was wearing my bike jacket at the time and yes, my clerical collar as well....

Fancied a pint so walked up the pub, the tosser decided to close at 7pm. I was outside chatting to another local for around 20 minutes, 6 other people turned up then went elsewhere. I really fancy a beer now I can't have one, might have to drive to town and get a takeaway.

Re: What have you done today thread?
On holiday in Fort William for a week.
Went to Inverness yesterday. Surprisingly little traffic and only a couple of bikes on what is a cracking stretch of road.
The Green Welly bike park was rammed as usual but they mustn’t come up this far.
View from my cottage this morning.
Typical Autumn on the west coast.

Got home from a night shift, mowed lawns, attacked the hedge with the trimmer, fitted a new Emtb specific chain to Mrs M's Levo and shortly off to the vets as Sith Hound No.2 has developed another eye infection (this after Sith Hound No.1 cost me £280 on Friday for his Old Dog related ailments and allergies).
I will be stopping their pocket money at this rate.
This afternoon will be spent putting shelves and curtain rails back up in the living room now I've found the safe place where I put the screws when I took them down a few weeks ago.
Then I shall have a cider or two before dozing off on the sofa.
