I logged out but when I tried to log back in, there's no option (see pic)
This is using Brave browser on a Macbook pro that's always been fine before !?
Currently gained access through google chrome.

Buttons 'missing' now I can't log in
A few days ago I noticed that the buttons (go to first new post) were missing from their spot on the index.
I logged out but when I tried to log back in, there's no option (see pic)
This is using Brave browser on a Macbook pro that's always been fine before !?

I had similar bother with some sites last year when using Opera. The problem stemmed from my OS being old and therefore couldn't take further updates from Opera. Using Firefox or Chrome was a temporary work around,but ultimately I had to move to a newer OS.

Having similar problems with the site re no buttons. No go to last post, no quote button etc etc. As noted above by Jody everything was fine until a few days ago.
This is also on Brave but on Xubuntu (22.04.2). Have tried clearing cookies and history with no luck.
Have also tried on the latest Firefox (with all cookies and history cleared) and the same result.
What I do see is that every time I refresh the page the "this site uses cookies" box appears for only a fraction of a second.
Most odd.

Since I cannot edit anymore (cannot add to the post I've just put up) I'll add this - the only way I can log in is to click on a users name and this brings up the log in page.
Blundering about trying not to make too much of a hash of things.

Ah ha! Worked it out. It's the Brave browser "Shields" that is screwing things up. Turn the function off and everything appears back to normal.
