At least the current one stands out, that just looks like a Suzuki.

Agreed, and the GSXS1000 is trying to look like a KTM (and failing)

Looks like skubs bike? I prefer it to the current one, but I prefer my model over all. Although mine does have the worst headlight ever put on a motorcycle! :wtf:

My God, that's ugly. In fact I'd go so far as to say we've reached Peak Fugly. There's no discernable styling, just a mass of random angles, surfaces and finishes. It is absolutely atrocious.

That's surely not an official render. It has a 750 Hornet tank & pillion footrests from the current XSR900.

I'm not a fan but it's in keeping with the current crop of large capacity nakeds. There are enough styling cues from the others - the MT-09/10, GSXS-750/1000, Kawasaki Z1000, Ducati Streetfighter - that the Honda could be the Frankenbike love child from an orgy.

looks like a Japanese copy of a Ducati Streetfighter to me.

But....what Chris said! Honda also tend to use car style 4 bolt wheels on their "normal" SSSA bikes don't they?

"HONDA New CB1000R. The image is the expected CG of the editorial department"

From under the second pic, which to me says it's about as confirmed as when Autocar puts on the front cover a pic of "The All New Aston" and it's got "Autocar Image" in a box next to it. So basically the intern had a go on Photoshop and pulled this out it's arse

Can you take the rad shrouds off easily, I'm wondering what it would look like without them.

Colour them in with a black pen.

Or use some heat on them to soften the glue (hair dryer etc...) and peel them off. If they're not under lacquer.

This is weird. I normally love this style of bike. I really love the Z1000.

But this is just wrong. Not 100% sure why I can't like it, but maybe something to do with it looking like the back end has been forgotten! It doesn't really have a back, no pillion seat?

I want to love it cos, Honda! But, nope :( :(

And, that sodding numberplate holder/mudguard at the back

I like it. I had the 2008 one. I took the 2018 out for a day and didn't find it as comfortable and thought that I may slide up the tank under heavy breaking. I felt much more planted on my one. I only got rid of it because it needed new front suspension - they are a bit soft.

It looks shit because it's an amateur photoshop effort made from 7 bikes cobbled together. Which is why it looks like 7 bikes cobbled together :D
