Father's Day card from the Gremlinette...

With obligatory cock and balls drawn childishly on the inside.

What can I say? We share the same juvenile sense of humour.

During the summer I'm employed to look after 20 mobile homes. Upon arrival this year it was immediately apparent that 7 of them were damaged and couldn't be used. Therefore I've had an easy start to the season :)

I've just been notified that it's "unlikely" that any of them will be repaired during the season. :banana-dance: :banana-dance:

A Moroccan man I only just met told me I was "effortlessly lazy" and then we high-fived.

Robin Pt.3

The little bollox is now feeding from my outstretched palm, back and forward filling up a fledged chick. I also made the error of leaving the small plastic bag containing the mealworms, sitting beside me and it didn't take long before Robin was right inside the bag.

I reckon the wee blurt was a risk taking motorcyclist in a previous.

I went to the dentist, he told me I'd need an Xray. He gave a me a prescription and a number to call.

I called them and got an appointment the next day. I went, got x-rayed and left with my results in a total of 15 minutes. €10.95 it cost. Some, if not all will be refunded.

I went back to the dentist. "I've got my x-ray, when can I see the dentist". 'There's a long wait. He won't be able to see you until next wednesday!!" (it's currently Thursday).

Just had my first ever doctor's appointment up here speaking only French :D :D In fact :bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde:

Both the GPs speak English well enough that I don't have to speak French. But I was very chuffed to get through a whole rdv in French - just had to clarify a couple of times cos, Damn he speaks fast!!

I have found a new best friend. I was chatting to my neighbours boyfriend at the weekend and it turns out he's the gaffer at the local recycling centre, I took some hardcore down there today, the till guy asked him to approve the charge and I got waved straight through.

A very good friend to have, work up to him letting you take stuff away.

P.S. AIUI they just stopped councils being able to charge for DIY waste.

I saw that article on the Beeb last night but there were no dates, it said the law was set in 2015 but councils use loopholes to carry on charging.

I recently got charged c£500 to dispose of some plasterboard, just over a tonne in weight. Including the fat bastard discount, out of the van on the weigh in, stay in the van for the weigh out. At £400 per tonne that saved about £80, two trips, I'm not that fat.

In my fave bar, there's a group of locals who come down often and have a great time.
They order the 4 pint jugs of beer then crack open their cooly boxes full of sarnies and snacks.
Happiest folk in the world. It's their island and everyone smiles
