It was a horrible accident and in the specific circumstances completely unavoidable by either rider, obviously. My only problems are Marc seemingly being unconcerned about Johann and - literally pointlessly - sprinting off for the spare but then also doubling down to put the blame on him too. Just shut up and wish Johann well!!

You have to wonder how much longer Marquez can keep up this rate of crashes without further serious injury.
To himself, others, or both? He's a random wrecking ball at present - his late crash really cocked up the last minute or so of Q2, pulling out yellow flags and having fast laps cancelled.
Regarding the mm/zarco crash, it wasn't mm's or zarco's fault- marquez simply lost the front doing what everyone is doing - trying to set a fast time. Zarco wasn't at fault either - at the point of being hit he was still effectively in the pit lane and not on the circuit. He had no chance whatsoever of avoiding bike 93.
Far more of an issue having a pit exit on the outside of a bend which makes people targets for crashing bikes as they join the circuit.
It's not a one off - vinalles crashed at the same spot and near collected Alex marquez.
The thing that bothered me was that marquez walked towards zarco and I thought he would have checked how he was since zarco was poleaxed. Nope, he just glanced at zarco and carried on to the pits because that was more important. Heartless cunt.

Two sectors already had yellow flags out, MM just added a third. The last minute of Q2 was already fucked with our without Marquez crashing.

I can't doubt his psychopathic determination,he is quite something else,a modern day Doohan, but he has another year of this bike left in his contract and if he keeps trying the way he does, serious injury is inevitable.
From his point of view,he knows/thinks he is still the most talented rider out there, but he can only be the fastest Honda rider, the frustration must be immense. I hope all this has a much happier ending than what I visualise.

Did you see his reaction to his off in the warm up? It'll be very interesting to see what happens for the actual race, this looked like a definite watershed moment for him.

Blimey. Again ? What did he do?
Nasty high side, massively dejected afterwards, head down and leaning on a barrier. Also a small fracture to a finger.
