Been watching this unfold on the news. Sky reporter just let out a car had been driven into people killing four. Sky retracted it as it couldn't be qualified. Doesnt sound good though.

Sounds horrific. Will be interesting to see just how far the msm will go to avoid "outing" the ethnicity of the perpetrator. The dreadlocks are a bit of a giveaway though.

This is what annoys me most about modern "news". Rather than merely present the facts of the case, it has to be disguised with euphemisms and key information removed to avoid causing offence to the sorts of people who perpetrate these random acts of violence.

He was black, as reported by the BBC while presenting 'the facts of the case'. 3 people dead, others in hospital, and your main concern is whether the ethnicity of the attacker gets reported

If it is the same guy, it sounds like he stabbed a couple to death in the street before casually walking off towards the town centre. At some point he got into a van and according to a witness, accelerated when he saw a police car behind him and struck 2/3 people who were walking in the road. No info on how or when the third victim died.

And yet Twitter is full of comments claiming that it has been confirmed

The watchdog stressed that these notices are to advise officers that their conduct is under investigation and did not necessarily mean disciplinary proceedings would follow.

Also states that the video was taken 'minutes' before the crash. Common sense suggests that nothing more will come of it and the police are just going through the motions.

I read an article at the time about how the mother of one of the boys (who was still alive and lying in the road) was begging rioters on FB to clear the roads, as the emergency services couldn't get access to her son. I hope the police will put as much effort into prosecuting anyone who may have played a part in his death through their actions.

Its not like we don't have our own homegrown murderers and nutters, but we need to have more thorough checks with boat newbs. Its like Le Camp des Saints is becoming a prophecy!
