Mugello Motogp

Post by Skub »

I bet neither Italians, nor Ducati will go well this year. :silent:

Podium last year was Pecco,Fabio and Aleix. I can't see the Yam on the rostrum on Sunday.

Had to chuckle at Bagnaia shouting & waving at Marquez then immediately giving him a tow to the front row :)

Looking forward to see how MM will treat his brother if it gets close.

Binder managed a 366.1 kph a lap or so later, which is 228 mph in old money.

This surprised me - Rins just sort of slid off in the background, didn't look nasty at all and now he might be out for the season.

Another DNF for MM93. Yes, he got out onto the dirty part of the track, but the reason he had to do that was to avoid running into the back of Marini. So not machine error, but rider error. And then he has the nerve to strike a Jesus pose for the cameras as if the bike had betrayed him.

Simon Crafar explained it differently. He reckoned MM ran slightly wide on purpose to give himself a better line to cut back in behind Marini and get better slipstream on the straight, the negative of doing that is that a bit more lean angle is required on the cut back.

Not one of the most interesting races I've ever seen, MotoGP and WSB seem to be purely for the benefit of Ducati at the moment.
