SCR950. Yeah it's a Harley wannabe, but for a lot less money to buy, run and maintain.

Once you've ridden with a top box, it's hard to go without. Missus won't let me put one on her Scrambler or my MT09.

This is a recommend your bike thread isn’t it?
CBF1000 all day long, upright, gentle on the knees, perfect fuelling, luggage, enough power in the detuned fireblade engine to be fun and it’s on the cheap end of the scale so no worries about it getting trashed in winter

Is also what I thought of to meet the brief (although we all know the brief is at best a red herring in these threads).
And it has an adjustable height seat for those with duff knees.

Re: New bike time!!!!
Well, that's crazy talk as the BMW is an IL4 and about as sweet an engine as you can find... and KTM LC8 engines in the Adv bikes go on for longer than the half-life of plutonium

Ask @Couchy i'm sure he'll put up his video of it at Rockingham too... but they're proper proper things that's for sure... As much as i think BMWs should be big arse twins.... the S1000 is a gem of an engine.Taipan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 10:05 am
