That's a youtube wannabe who can't ride a supermoto properly.

Now this, on the other hand...

And without having the same levels of skills ... this is exactly why i have a 690 single :)

The only thing it's lacking of course is the rider, but it's perfectly capable of bringing smiles like that, but at <100mph.

I had several over a few years, started with a DRZ, then a mk2 duke 620, KTM 450, KTM 625SMC, then a 525 (the 'one I should never have sold), then went for a Aprillia SXV550, then back to a KTM that I bought and never even saw before it was stolen!

Comfort wise I used to use '3 layer technology'. Silk boxer shorts under cotton boxer shorts, under cycling shorts. 4 of us used to ride round together, all on LC4'd KTMs. The four Horsemen of the Akropovic !!

Then one day I got distracted by bigger bikes, bought a Superduke and rode the wheels off it.

Now bored of the superduke and looking for another SM !

This is the thread I made about it.
I got it whilst injured as I wanted a super Moto again.

https://www.therevcounter.co.uk/threads ... to-is-back

That’s the ups and downs of it. Plus it will show all the times I managed to ride it, and that was only 4/5 at most I think.

Selling as our house of for sale and I am looking at a Honda CB500x for commuting on or maybe a 300/400cc scooter as I won’t use the triple for that.

It had a day time MOT but it’s expired, should be getting it done Saturday if I can get a clip on horn in time.

I had it up for £2700 but if I get £2400 I’ll be happy.

I had a Husaberg 650 FS briefly.

Was insane, a real hoot for short blast, but vibrated so much it could detach a retina.

Fantastic bit of kit though. Genuinely laughed the first ride out when I opened it up, and was racing an R1 at the time.

I'd have another

Still own a supermoto, although these days it's a street moto rather than an converted enduro/motocross bike.

For 80% of the road riding and the time I have available it suits me. It's only the longer days rides where the seat becomes an issue but anything around 3 hours and it's fine.

It's more a keeper than the MT10.

Have owned my drz for 12 years but unfortunately its been of the road for the last 2 years as just had no time to ride it.
That's about to change as giving the business up early next year as retiring.
Just stuck an mot on the drz, going to tax probably February next year and it will be back in action. Not fast but great fun riding it. Thought a couple of times about selling it but changed my mind. Glad I kept hold of it and looking forward to February.
