Re: Stupid decisions...
Mrs D has neon pink and blue hair. It's actually surprisingly difficult to fine UK salons who can/will do it. Cheap places can't get the bright colour, more expensive places are weirdly snooty about "unnatural" colours. Because of course, hiding your grey hair with bottled brunette or having peroxide blond is entirely natural
Anyhoooo....she and I often do her hair. Look for "Manic Panic" (sic) on Amazon.

I use the Live Pink (93) - I found it lasts longer than the Manic Panic!Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 2:48 pm

I can mostly do one colour and bleaching myself. But doing the bleaching at the back is a challenge with one arm not very mobile!! Havne't found anyone to help me here yet!
A friend in the UK had an awesome selection of blues/greens done in the uk but not sure where. That's where I'll probably book if I go mad and do the unicorn thing! If I do, remind me to tell you the name of the place!
Out here they aren't keen on proper bleach - they only use 20 -30% peroxide where I get the 40% which gives a better blonde base. There's a place in the valley that is starting to do more colour, but probably only cos there's loads of brits with stupid colour hair, so the French hare getting more interested!!

Mrs D is fortunate that her hair grows faster than the color fades, so it's the roots which are the driving factor

My hair is brown for the lower 3ft and white for the top 8in. Perhaps I should call it sepia nd silver to sound slightly exciting.

When I was in my late teens I had a massive Wattie from the Exploited style mohican, bleached white and I had a go with a few colours.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 2:48 pm Mrs D has neon pink and blue hair. The brighter colours didn't really last too well, electric blue faded to more of a blue rinse and a postbox red quickly faded to a dodgy pink.
Still, I reckon I made the most out of the middle bit of hair while I had it then when I was about 20 I shaved the lot off and been pretty much skinheed ever since.
An ex girlfriend of mine reckoned the hot tip from one of her punk mates from Norwich way was to use the marker that male sheep have in a harness on their chest to mark when theyve been with a ewe.
Never tried that one as any marker I remember from being on the farm when I was a kid was greasy orrible stuff.

Well I frequently looked 'raddled' as a teenager, but not an electric blue and pink one.

Regarding the Biden admin pursuing Trump, that shows a complete lack of understanding of what has been going on. The Biden administration has kept out of the various prosecutions. That includes the Hunter Biden investigations. Some of them are state and he's got fuck all to do with that. The Department of Justice is handling all of that. All of those indictments have been handed down by Grand Juries. Those consist of US citizens. They're picked by lottery. I've served on one and I had no say in whether or not I sat for it, you get called, you go. All a Grand Jury does is look at evidence presented to determine if there is merit to proceed to an actual hearing. All of those indictments have been approved by Grand Juries, not Joe Biden. The actual court cases will be in front of juries that are screened by the prosecution and the defense.
While we're going on about wielding the DOJ as a weapon, take a gander at what went on when President Trump's attempted to use the DOJ to make knowingly false claims of election fraud. He attempted to use then assistant attorney general, Jeffrey Clark (willing accomplice) in the process.

I'm just going to respond to the bits in bold. I'm glad to see you completely ignore the actual numbers regarding abortion and go right for the old slippery slope. You didn't go quite as far as the hard right in this country with accusations of post partum abortions. Posing a limit has what I would think are pretty obvious problems, i.e. the discovery of potential problems late in gestation.Screwdriver wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2023 1:14 amI should explain then since you went off on a tangent.Bwana wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 11:40 pmUmm no <blah blah> rape.Screwdriver wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 8:57 pm Again, both sides as bad as each other because the other "side", the left wing, who can't say what a woman is, refuse to put a timescale on abortion. They say it is ok to perform an abortion all the way up to full term. You know, a viable baby. An actual human being....
I'm not certain I understand your second to last paragraph:
Trump doesn't hold his tongue on any matter, even if it is self incriminating. He simply can't keep his pie hole shut. You clearly haven't been keeping up with his daily rantings. The problem is that (both sides) need to pander to the extreme views or they will become enemies amongst themselves. Trump dares not criticise the right wing, no democrat would argue that a man can't also be a woman if he wants to.
As far as arguing that a man can't be a woman (or the converse), I personally don't give a flying fuck.
Because no one (to my knowledge) will put a time limit on precisely when you can have an abortion, in theory, you would be able to terminate any pregnancy at any time up until the instant before birth.
Whether anyone does or does not typically have an abortion "at the last minute" is immaterial to my point which is that neither side can stray from "the party line" - whatever that narrative may be. Hence nobody from the left "pro choice (??)" would dare say "up to 26 weeks". I merely give an example relevant to the the previous comment.
I don't "follow" Trump other than the incessant bombardment of court cases sponsored by the current administration. This weaponisation of state administration for political purposes is incredibly dangerous and no longer representative of a healthy democracy. The Biden admin keep trying to convince everyone that the biggest danger to democracy is anyone who doesn't vote for Biden. Oh and they're also domestic terrorists and racists.
They must think half of America are stupid. Problem is, half of America actually is.
I don't really care about the transgender "what is a woman bollocks" either. I can happily ignore it. What worries me is the overt grooming of children by deliberately targeting them for exposure to these niche adult sexual fetishes which seems to be one of the primary goals within that movement.

Wow. Ok well you’ve made your mind up and refuse to see the obvious politicisation/weaponisation of your own judicial system. With all the evidence that’s out there now, you don’t need me to point it out since you are actively ignoring it anyway.Bwana wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 8:04 pm Late to the party, yep, that's me

I guess the only thing we can agree on is that Joe Biden has “nothing to do with it” but that is only because, clearly, Biden has nothing to do with anything. He is a mere prop for whoever is really running the US (into the ground). I am surprised that Hunter Biden wasn’t just given the “get out of jail free card” which would have absolved him for all crimes past present and future!
Perhaps the tide has turned and the extreme level of corruption surrounding the Biden mafia can no longer be ignored.
Except by people like you of course.
