That's just extra weight and more to wash.

Not compared to standard as that's got the big Cat in it.... but yes it's bigger.

That's the trouble with these bikes. When they have a short stubby exhaust on to start with any change in that design can look odd? Probably why I like the original black one, shame its (probably) too quiet?

It's not the noise with the standard it's the paint/quality. The standard was Cerakote'd but i can see just from 1 ride that's not going to fly for me as it shows all the dirt and due to how it was fitted, you can see it's going to chip effortlessly. I'm not even convinced i could give it a decent clean with SDOC/Citrus without it ending up all over the floor.

It doesn't help of course that i'm me.... being me means there's clean and there's my clean...

MAybe i'm being overly picky with how it's going to look in 1 ride, 10 rides, 100 rides... but the MT09 one whilst not as suited, just works, it's ride, wipe, clean, get on with it.

I deffo prefer eeh original but hear what you say. It'd be like cleaning the car and not doing the windows! I expect i'd end up with the mt09 one too if it was a bike I want kept clean.

That original is so much nicer to my eyes, that it would have to be on there, and I'd put up with regular re-finishing, or find a decent black chrome type finish, one way or the other- the MT09 one is not massively ugly, but just a bit sort of anonymous, whereas the original just looks right and makes the bike for me looks-wise.

4 memorable miles today !!! Yes, 4....

The broken scaphoid is now 6 weeks in and boy is it dragging, so went out for a tester... Was it too early, yeah probably, but OK for 4 miles.

They were all awesome though, pinned through the gearbox on the QS, brappppp, brappppp, braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap. Awesome !!!

Ahh I think I thought that you had the MT exhaust and the std and had been debating between the 2.
