Re: What have you done today thread?
Was up at Mum's this morning, so took the Matchless out for 20 minutes.
It pootles along very nicely still.
Then, after a fancy lunch in Oxford with my brothers, i took the slow way home.

Went into Edinburgh for a meal. Had my first T-Bone steak what was nice. Town was full of half naked women in 70's summer clothing as Harry Styles was playing at Murrayfield.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Today I cooked the worst meal I can remember. Spag bol in a pressure cooker is simple but I decided to double up, too much food and not enough liquid meant the meat at the bottom burnt to a crisp before the sauce had come up to temperature.
I might have got away with it if I hadn't disturbed the bottom layer by stirring it.

Went to Suppa Club, bought some LPs and I'm now five pints in drinking a vimto sour beer, it's alright.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Three services. First one I preached at, second one I prayed for a couple leaving to study Theology, so anointed them and blessed them. Third service celebrated the Holy Communion and ended the evening sitting with someone who came into the church because the door was open and they just wanted company and someone to talk to for a while. So I chatted with them for a while, blessed them and then came home for dinner and a nice single malt. Tomorrow is bank holiday sleep late day (dog won't allow that)!
Proverbs 17:9
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

Up early
Games with little man
Motorbike rise to Goodwood
Watch spitfire take off and see tasty cars
Saw loads of panigale’s
Went to Redhill aerodrome, saw a few planes and loads of helicopters take off and land, one of the medics come over and said hello to my boy after getting off the helicopter, he just kept shouting hello Tom (Tom flys Wallaby the helicopter in fireman Sam who he loves)

Cleared up after yesterday. There was only 10 of us but it looked like it'd been 100! Downside to hosting I suppose...

Takes to the resident/interne surgeon. Practiced walking. Spent an hour wishing I’d booked the transport home for before lunch cos, I’m bored!!!
Got all the exit paperwork and enough drugs for 24 hours
Taxi booked for 14:00 home by about 16:00.
Yay
(I do have some ´gash’ shots to share but will upload when I get home - and no, they aren’t ´that’ sort of gash shot

The crimping is a bit of a 'knack' apparently. My mate that sells them over here is so quick when she does it. I want to have a go, but half don't cos I'd have to tell her and mine just won't be so good!!ZRX61 wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 10:15 pmhttps://cornishpastyassociation.co.uk/a ... ish-pasty/Ant wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 7:31 pm I want to make some.
