Summertime Adventures...what do you have ?

Inspired by Tricky and Dodgy, i thought i'd see what motorbike adventures you either have coming up, or dream of coming up. Where do you want to go and why, indeed, what do you wanna be riding.

Depending on her in doors health, we'll be doing a bike trip to Europe.

Which reminds me, I need to convert my club card points to Chunnel vouchers before they drop in price at the end of the month.

Nothing abroad for me. I need to sort visiting my uncle for a Somerset ride, I planned that for last Sep and it didn't happen as he was ill but need to pull my finger out as I wanna avoid the kids holidays or risk losing the summer. I had an ideal time to have done it later March but the weather was bloody shocking.

I also fancy going somewhere else other than my usual East coast Suffolk/Essex areas. Was thinking of a ride down to Rye the other day but that will mean a bit of M25 which sucks but probably only an hour or so and then hoping I'll be able to pick up some decent A/B's to get to the south coast.

Other than that just ride the bike more, even it if it's to work like yesterday.

Nowt really, other than the usual commuting and maybe a track day or two I won’t be doing much. I had initially planned on doing more track days this year and starting early on but that hasn’t happened and I can’t see it being any time soon.

Pyrenees trip booked for September, otherwise just bimbling. If the weather stays like the last few days bimbling will be good.

I’ll have to see how my remaining holiday is spoken for before planning my next trip. It’s the worst bit about a permanent job vs contracting.

Normally only commute on a bike but might well go for a ride on the Hyper just for fun. Probably have to skive off for a day to do so as don't seem to have time at weekends.

Balkans in July/August, maybe Albania or North Macedonia if my mates can get time off work. Bol D'Or at Paul Ricard in September, Pyrenees in October and Valencia MotoGP in November.

Up to Norfolk in June hopefully then maybe the roads of my youth if my mum doesn’t find too many jobs for me to do - might camp at Southwold weather permitting.

Hoping to do a Scottish borders trip with a couple of mates from home and add that in to going home on the bike for a few days too. Pembrey is booked and now just waiting to book my NL trackday when I can find Oulton on a good day.

We're all booked for the Classic TT in late August,I've been going for years & my mates are finally joining me.
We did a trip to Ireland last week & I'm tempted to make a return visit.
I really enjoy Britain in the summertime & I can see myself having lots of short trips when the sun's shining.
I'm thinking about finally doing the route Napoleon & Stella Alpina neasr Bardonechia in early July,but the weather on the Continent looks a bit hit & miss at the moment so I've not yet booked the ferry.
Last year we did a Scottish week & a long weekend in mid Wales,I can see Scotland happening again in September when the midges start to hibernate.
I might nip down to Wales next week when the half term holidays are over,not much point going abroad when we're blessed with sunshine over here!
