Stupid decisions...
First she did this:
https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2023/05/ ... t-display/
And got suspended from work...
Then she did this:
https://nypost.com/2023/05/23/nyc-colle ... eboard_app
& was immediately fired...
Amazing that someone that violent/deluded/psychotic actually managed to stay in college long enough to become a Professor.

Re: Stupid decisions...
The interesting aspect of that violent encounter with the left is that while the students were presenting some information on the dangers of chemical abortions, the "professor" started screaming about transgender issues. It's almost as if this left wing movement has an all encompassing agenda so that pick one topic they disagree with and you're guilty of everything from racism to transphobia.
Makes me wonder how long this woke insanity can last. It is clearly not a majority view, just a vocal (and violent) minority. That's why they have so deeply infiltrated the entire education system. Get 'em while they're young before they can see the madness behind this nonsense.

She'll probably be back at the school soon with an assault rifle and a backpack full of magazines (not Cosmopolitan).

That's why "the Left" in the late 60's onwards infiltrated the UK's teachers training colleges, with the results now obvious in militant teachers unions and UK educational establishments ...... That's why they have so deeply infiltrated the entire education system. Get 'em while they're young before they can see the madness behind this nonsense.

No, the interesting aspect is that these students are part of a movement known as Students for Life of America, which states on its website:Screwdriver wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 1:20 am The interesting aspect of that violent encounter with the left is that while the students were presenting some information on the dangers of chemical abortions, the "professor" started screaming about transgender issues. A multi-million dollar organisation that uses kids to spread its religious and political ideology, as well as shaming Christian schools into dropping Planned Parenthood for their students. 'Get 'em while they're young' indeedStudents for Life Action trains and mobilizes this generation of pro-life leaders to impact public policy and influence key elections in order to restrict & abolish abortion in America.
Since 2006, Students for Life of America has trained more than 163,000 student activists nationwide and currently supports more than 1,300 Students for Life groups in all 50 states. Students for Life Action is deploying these energetic, passionate members of the Pro-Life Generation to the front-lines of the battlefield, where the abortion industry has identified they are the most vulnerable — state-level politics. Students for Life Action empowers and utilizes our pro-life movement’s best, untapped resource — an army of young people across the nation — to kick the abortion industry out of schools and ensure key state political victories to make abortion unprofitable, restrict abortion access, and embrace a post-Roe America. Our strategy is simple: Elections. Laws. Leaders.

Look, they are Yanks. Most of them are stupid, many of them are determined to prove that stupidity. Just ignore them, they will shoot each other soon.

LOL. Why am I not surprised. It seems they are almost as bad as each other with their extreme views. Having said that, there is no need for violence in any discussion. At least you should be able to poke fun at these people, without literally having a knife to your throat or in this case a machete!Hoonercat wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 4:55 pm

As will all news, the back story is really where the truth lies. Plus of course the extreme polarisation of views these days means you're accused of being one side or the other when in reality, most of us don't pick a "side" but are more interested in the truth.

Re: Stupid decisions...
No idea if she's telling the truth or not, but she claims she has been targetted since the college video and was in fear for her life. She says the reporter didn't use her intercom to request permission to enter her apartment block and didn't identitfy himself to her. She says the abuse she has received has affected her mental health (not that it appears to have been that good to start with).Screwdriver wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 7:12 pmLOL. Why am I not surprised. When I was at school the woodwork teacher lost his temper with a student and threw a file at him, hitting him in the head which then required stitches. Naturally, he was sacked, but AFAIK it didn't even make the local news. This teacher swears and pushes a few leaflets off a table and it's somehow deemed news worthy worldwide

Re: Stupid decisions...
Luck of the draw your teacher didn't make the papers, two of mine made the front pages for less.
That professor will say anything to claim to be a victim, it seems to be standard practice. She might be getting nasty abuse online which isn't deserved, but those students didn't deserve the abuse she gave them so I have little pity. I'm not surprised she was upset about being doorstopped by reporters but that doesn't justify leaving the safety of her locked door to hold a knife to his throat.
She's not a victim here despite wanting to appear so, she's the aggressor.

She's more newsworthy than a presenter who's just lost their chat show. Exactly what has Schofield done that's so heinous?

I think we're just waiting for someone brave enough to come out and say it, I expect grooming and children will be mentioned.

You're thinking of his brother. Are all family members tarred with the same brush?
I worked with Philip many years ago, he struck me as a nice chap. Never heard a bad word spoken about him.

Nothing to do with his brother, this story is about him and the affair he has had to admit. His agent dropped him with immediate effect a couple of days ago.Screwdriver wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 1:38 amYou're thinking of his brother. Are all family members tarred with the same brush?

When he "came out" a couple of years ago the affair with the young chap was known about then. It's just something for the tabloids to annoy the stupid with, Phil is a gay nonce.Mussels wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 7:45 amNothing to do with his brother, this story is about him and the affair he has had to admit. Listening to James O'Brien in the week he said to put Phil, Holly and their morning telly show into some perspective, they broadcast at the same time as he does, his listening figures are double their viewing figures (or something like that).

Re: Stupid decisions...
A quick Google suggests he had an "affair" with an employee (at ITV). Is that "illegal"? Was it a "child" employee? I don't want to look, I don't really want to know. He's not a "hero" of mine but he was one of the nicer celebrities to work with.Pirahna wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 8:20 amWhen he "came out" a couple of years ago the affair with the young chap was known about then. As for being gay, that's hardly a surprise now is it? Also, it's hardly anyone's business either. I have no issue with anyone's sexuality but don't expect me to "celebrate" it, it's a personal thing. About as personal as it gets!
I was once a "pretty boy" myself and would constantly get into "trouble" being chatted up by gay men because not only was I good looking and chatty, I was also incredibly naive. Still am probably. I didn't have a problem with it at all, in fact it's quite flattering. I'd tell you a story about Right Said Fred flirting with me, but that's hardly news now either is it?
