I have a v2 jacket and I recently bought a pair of the v3 trousers to replace the v2 trousers I originally had. The v2 trousers are now used for greening after I damaged the waist button mechanism.

This is a short review as these things are brilliant value and completely waterproof. I’ve had cheaper suits that I’ve needed to reproof periodically but not these. Stick them on, ride through rainstorms and you’ll stay dry.

Although I’ve have these for a while I was prompted to write this due to how dry they kept me in horrible rain and hail on the French autoroute this weekend.

I'm not sure if mine are the originals or the V2, but after riding through a thunderstorm to get to the Hollyhead ferry from Barnsley, I can assure you they ain't completely waterproof

Reviews are only personal experiences after all. Mine have never let water in despite many many wet trips and commuting.

I've got the v2 jacket and in the couple of years I've had it I've stayed dry - not saying its fully waterproof and as good as a Gore-Tex jacket but far better than the Oxford Montreal and Weise Nevada I had before (thank God for SBS returns policy!)
