I only put it back on for the ITV (MOT). Yoshi can going back on when I've chopped it down a bit

I only put it back on for the ITV (MOT). Yoshi can going back on when I've chopped it down a bit

I have a deep scratch on the exhaust heatguard on my Himalayan. So rather than buy another, I bought an aluminium Akropovic sticker to cover it. When I took it for its ITV, the examiner wanted to see the approval certificate for the endcan.

Even though I showed him the purchase from Aliexpress, he still gave the endcan a good inspection.

Rode from my place to Abel’s place in Yorkshire today and hit hit by 5 separate thunderstorms including a hail storm ….. dontcha just love spring weather. Bike was spotless when I left

Yup. Cleaned mine at the weekend and it was all lovely and shiny. First ride into work and it pissed down! By the time I got to work it looked as bad as it did before I cleaned it!

Weather is feeling more early April rather than mid May, it's been a shocker for weather this year thus far. Rain everyday this week

I did less than 2000 miles on the Rockster last year... Thats shameful, will have to more this year!

Off to Czechia tomorrow. This afternoon it rained here for the first time this year. Pissed it down for two hours.
Looks like I'll be either riding behind, or just in front of, the rain tomorrow, all the way up to the Spain/France border. At least I hope I'll avoid it....

Today was spent mostly battering round North Wales in the company of Abel, KHH, MAC, @Beancounter and a couple of other lads. Just under 300 miles on everything from fast open sweeping roads to nadgery twists onto single lane goat tracks covered in sheep shit ….. superb fun and pleased with my riding throughout the day in some very fast company

Bit of a misty start

Soon brightened up though after a quick breakfast

Opportune place to pull in for a chat, we may have slightly obscured his view down the road

Good day had by all and took home a lot of Welsh wildlife on the front of the bike which I thought was a fair swap for the rubber left behind

I remember Easter tours with some of those guys, say hello to the ones that remember me.

I have been out for the first time this year, mostly taking it easy round the lesser travelled roads of Co Durham. I've lived up this way for 15 years and found places I've never been before just by saying "I wonder what's down that road?"

Went out at 9 this morning and it was bloody chilly

Still got my jacket lining in. Was going to go out earlier but then the feels like temp was 7C.

Did a big ol' Essex/Suffolk loop of 130 miles, sun came out for the second half and it was a good ride all in. Loads of bikes out and loads of sodding cyclists too

As I was close on the way home I dropped in for a strafing run
