Merchandising, t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodys, etc

Post by weeksy »

So....

Having some thoughts on this for the future, but wondering if it's actually a go-er or just me being daft ?

I also worry it's a bit pretentious too... But i'll leave it down to you guys and girls to decide.

For me, as stated in the description on the forum etc it's about trying to bring back the community spirit, trying to bring back the friendships, the days where people went out of their way to help eachother. The days where we'd drop everything to go help another friend (virtual or not) in need. It's how i made some great friends who've stayed great friends since.

So...

Agree it's early... I wasn't thinking right away for sure. More like if the forum starts growing etc.

I do my best to not buy clothing with logos on. If I do find something I want that has them then I'll remove them as far as it feasible. The hoodie I'm wearing is by Tactical Threads, 5 minutes with a stitch cutter and you might not know it. No, I don't know why logo irritate me as much as they do, probably the rise of vulgar and low quality designer brands.

May further replies be more positive.

It's not your picking my idea apart or dismissing it, it's your personal preference, that's absolutely fine with me.

Wood, or aero?

I'd buy plain ones if they were of a suitable quality and design. I'm sorted for the next few years, I bought multiples of the one I'm wearing because I like them.

I did spend a split second thinking about what was the right spelling then again i though, dont care that much anyway.

I opened an account with Q-Tag as the buying 5 or more makes the thicker quality Fruit Of The Loom shits very cheap. If you are thinking printing these yourself to order Weeksy its worth a look through the pricing.

https://www.qtag.com/
Printing myself ? Heck no.

https://www.tshirtstudio.com/

Is the current chosen option.

Sadly we've had a minor issue as the IMG i sent them was too low quality, so we've tried again :)

I've bought 3. One for me, the wife and the boy, to check sizing and quality. Should have them by Monday or Tuesday I think

Not for me thanks but I doubt I'm representative of the masses.
I'm not really much of a fan of logos.

I'll chip in to the running kitty when I feel I have some spare if thats OK but at the moment my status is sort of Self Unemployed.

You look after yourself and your family, don't worry about that.

Well i'm hoping to have some of the items today/tomorrow for testing/fitting/sizing.

Although i'll be curious as to when the 2nd item arrives and which design i prefer in real life.

Funnily enough, they've just arrived.

The current ones are Gildan.

They seem pretty decent

Small logo for discreet one first

bigger full length logo on a man (kinda)

Other designs to follow in the coming days too. Now i know we're CRAP models... LOL.. but i'm not paying for a good looking bloke to model them just for you lot.

the Large is my one, i'm at 14st 7 and fits just about right. They're made by Gildan which quite a few t-shirt companies seem to use too.

Logo too narrow and thin. Much preferred the first ones.

They're coming.... They've been made, but i had a delay waiting for a higher resolution logo which was kindly done by Slenver and looks ace.

Personally, i like the ones that have arrived...

Both will be available though.
