I left early this morning about 8am and enjoyed the quiet roads for 160 odd miles. Sort of the first proper few hours out this year. Very pleasant.

Finally a chance to get a good few miles in yesterday.
The roads were a bit damp in places early on, but the skies were blue (in places) and my time free so off I went.
So a few hours of two wheeled, blue sky therapy left me feeling great.
Got a few shots when out, including this one of Broadway Tower for the challenge thread (too late again).

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
We had a ride over to Devil's Bridge earlier.
I spotted this Vincent HRD at Dunsop Bridge, can't remember the last time I saw one on the road.
On the way back we stopped at the Jubilee Tower, taking the views over Morecambe bay. There was no point stopping on the way to Devils Bridge as at this point it was covered in hill fog
By pure chance we bumped into one of my old workmates at Devils Bridge,he's 76 & was out on his sons 600 Fazer
Here's hoping I can still enjoy riding bikes aged 76!

They are a rare thing on the road. I saw this one last year in Ballycastle and had a yarn with the owner. He said he uses it fairly regularly on good days. Even to folk like me who have no connection to British iron, they are lovely bikes.Bustaspoke wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2023 7:19 pm We had a ride over to Devil's Bridge earlier.

The FV605 from La Pared to Pakara was awesome as usual. Naff all traffic.
Then the road from Pajara to Betancuria and beyond is just insane.
Took some pics from here. Risco.

I have a deep scratch on the exhaust heatguard on my Himalayan. So rather than buy another, I bought an aluminium Akropovic sticker to cover it. When I took it for its ITV, the examiner wanted to see the approval certificate for the endcan.Yorick wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2023 7:24 pmI only put it back on for the ITV (MOT). Even though I showed him the purchase from Aliexpress, he still gave the endcan a good inspection.

Yup. Cleaned mine at the weekend and it was all lovely and shiny. First ride into work and it pissed down! By the time I got to work it looked as bad as it did before I cleaned it!
