Well, somebody has gone to a lot of trouble to make their feelings known.

Seems kinda fitting, given the location, that they should have done such a neat job of it.

Or draw it with a watering can filled with lawn feed. Try mowing that out.Yorick wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 1:30 pmIt was once a jolly jape to throw cress seeds in a pattern onto a lawngremlin wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2023 1:23 pm Well, somebody has gone to a lot of trouble to make their feelings known.

I am not a royalist in the slightest. I will be enjoying the extra day off.

Currently watching world superbikes but popped into living room a couple of times in last hour and a half where the missus is in heaven watching the coronation.
Every time I walk in it’s some bloke waffling about baby Jesus and his dad. I really pity the invited guests that have been in there on benches since about 0830

Re: Not My King / God save The King
Ironic isn’t it that Liz Truss deliberately gave Mordaunt the job as leader of the house to keep her in the background rather than having her as a minister.
Instead she is front and centre on a worldwide stage
That backfired spectacularly just like everything else Truss did during her 15 minutes in charge

Found out this morning we're getting a royal visit tomorrow (well a nearby village is). I thought they'd gone a bit wild with bunting!

Not watched any but seen bits of news and photos.
The queen was my queen and always there during my life.
This king is not my king as I'm now a foreign resident.
I'll always be proud of my heritage and the Royal Family.
But this new episode will pass me by a bit.

Re: Not My King / God save The King
In fairness, Truss was pretty much installed as a fall girl to take the blame for an already crashing economy. But this could lead to PM being elevated to the somewhat incredible levels of worship given to Carol Vorderman, a new career could await.Bigyin wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 3:26 pm Ironic isn’t it that Liz Truss deliberately gave Mordaunt the job as leader of the house to keep her in the background rather than having her as a minister.
