Re: GSXS 8 review
On my GSXR you turn the key one way to open the helmet holder and the other to release the riders seat. The riders seat has a holder for an Allen key which you use to remove the cowl/pillion seat
Are lockable helmet holders still a thing on new bikes?

My Z750 was like that, on the GSXS it's offset to the side so hidden but not crap filled.

The GSXS 750 seat lock is directly behind the riders seat in the middle, though I've no idea why we're discussing seat locks.

Tip..
After washing, lift seat and have a look and a wipe around. On the GS, water had collected due to a blocked drain hole and was up to the important bits, thin, long screwdriver fixed it.

Re: GSXS 8 review
I'd actually planned to have a go one one today but the morning ran away with me and then it started properly chucking it down before lunch. Hasn't stopped since....
