Project Binky

Post by GuzziPaul »

Thought I would start this here as the Mini build will still be going when The Rev Counter has finished.

The latest Escargot build is out adding a new axel.

Anyone else a wee bit frustrated that videos are appearing on social media showing the car running and driving but no video from BO on Youtube !?

Start of someone elses project.
They have done some fairly serious electric conversions already though so I have high hopes for it.

Another episode out - BOM at the Historic Rally Festival 2021
In August 2021 we were invited to bring Binky along to the inaugural UK Historic Rally Festival. Of course, we hadn't finished it so we threw some parts at the mini hastily and dragged it along to the show anyway. Dozens of pre-2000 rally cars including some Group B monsters were in attendance and despite typical British summer weather, a good time was had by all.

Nice chaps, hope they get back to it eventually.

The lack of content from BOM is very disappointing tbh. Particularly when they encouraged people to become patreons so BOM could spend more time on the projects and less time 'working'.
