These were during a transition period, before carriages became horseless.

You all (I assume) missed your chance on this one...

It went for $101k which seems a bit of a bargain, seeing as a GT380 went for $10k on the same site recently.

Whilst an extreme specimen I have never been able to get my head around the idea of trikes. There were a few on this Suffolk ride out I did the other week and I just can't process them. All the bad points of a car; slow, no filtering, no leaning, parking etc with the only downsides of a bike; being outside in the elements and being more vulnerable.

It's not a trike, it's a pent, I bet it steers a treat.

I suppose there's the aspect of physical strength?

It's why I considered a Can-Am, albeit they have two wheels at the front, so more stable.

However, for me health-wise, it would still literally be my neck at risk, so no.

And a Carver would be great!

One of those 3 wheel scooters or a Niken if I was in that boat. You can still filter and lean  Matey's dad the other week was on a Piaggio 500 3 wheeler and went well enough

Unfortunately, along with my neck/skull being bolted together and assorted chunks of skull and spine being removed (that's what I meant about putting my neck on the line!), my balance* is FUBARed too.

* actually it's a lot more complicated. Essentially, though, Niken or Paggio etc is out.

Sidecars are ace, is there another vehicle that handles so differently when turn to one than the other?

I suppose the 'car' equivalent would be one - luckily rare, from my low understanding - of those goes from under- to over-steer mid-bend.

It's why I considered a Florida Snowmobile albeit they have two wheels at the front, so more stable.

My uncle in Tx is building a trike, basically because he's 83.

A friend had one (to be fair it was a reasonable low-run factory made standard-ish looking trike with a VW engine, rather than some custom lashup, or something really extreme) and excitedly let me have a go.
It was still horrible to ride though. And I felt like a dick riding it.
