Can anyone recommend a bespoke car damper rod supplier
I know it's got four wheels but my Japanese import Toyota has failed the MOT on leaky front dampers, and I can't find anyone who'll supply a pair to fit.
So... does anyone know...
1) someone who can check through Toyota's spares lists and find a part from a UK vehicle that would fit
2) someone who can strip and repair the existing struts
3) someone who can make a custom made pair
4) where to get the precise model designation from the chassis number?
I MIGHT have found a used pair in NZ but if I can source them in the UK, that would be a LOT easier.

There's a Japanese market specialist in Horsham iirc, but can't remember their name, Google it?

Not used this site:
https://toyota.epc-data.com/
but I have used a similar site to source BMW parts (brake discs in particular as there are 2 sizes listed for front & rear for my car).
You should be able to find the exact part number and any replacement part numbers.

Terrific... now got the precise vehicle model, plus part numbers. That's a real help.Silly Car wrote: ↑Sun Apr 23, 2023 10:46 am Not used this site:

Now to find out if anyone can supply them!

I will do so. That was my first port of call, but I'll have another look with Horsham in the searchRockburner wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 6:53 pm There's a Japanese market specialist in Horsham iirc, but can't remember their name, Google it?

No idea about parts but I use this place to service my car as they can update Mazda's online service records and specialise in Japanese cars. Only in Kings Langley so not far from you.
