Wife got hers at just gone 3pm, I didn't get mine until 3:10pm.

Does this mean she'll know about the alien invasion 10minutes before I do?

I could have been disintegrated by then!

Not a fucking peep here. Apparently it doesn't work on GiffGaff because the voice calls/SMS use the old O2 3g network.

Well it was pretty underwhelming on my phone. Genuinely thought it was just the sound of it vibrating

Didn't have to go into any sub menus to read the message though.

2 phones worked as expected, 2 phones didn't go off until 15 minutes after they were supposed to.

Depends, I really can't see there being any need for it to be used in this country short of our new robot AI overlords coming for us, and accepting some truly dodgy weather in the highlands & costal regions.

The AI overlords wont be that intelligent if they tell you they're coming for you!

I'm hoping Sarah Connor will bang out a quick message on judgement day.

Worked on a giffgaff phone here.

Hope it wasn’t the four minute warning, what with it being an hour and ten minutes ago.

Wifes went off when we were driving. Then mine went of a few minutes later. Then mine went off again a few minutes after that. No record of timings, first was probably just after 3 pm.

Daughter and son in law havent had one at all.

I was out in the sticks at my dad's house at the time and it arrived bang on 3pm. His phone (I'd switched them off) made a gentle noise that I didn't notice at first, which was a bit odd as his phone is usually like a pa in volume terms.

It caused panic when I was driving back from Lidl and thought it was my cars speed camera warning... on a road that has never had a speed camera on it.

I haven't switched anything off, I didn't even know this was a capability until all of this talk of the alert system was to be tested ahead of the war with Russia and China.
