Need some help from the geeky kids!

I'm after a bit, best described as a ribbon clip. Ie I have a display ribbon going to a motherboard, and fudge fingers has broken the clip!
Any idea as to their official title, and more importantly, where can I get some.
It's not a computer btw, think more satnav/electronic speedo size.

It's a slide fitting btw, or it used to be!

Well after much searching I have found some 17 pin fpc in Europe!
Local-ish electronics dealer quoted August for delivery!
Or I could get some from the US, with $20 post + vat
