They're pretty damn good. What's the issue and what brake?

People rave about them, I found them plenty powerful enough but very noisy squealing in the wet.

I've been running galfer pads for the last 6 months or so and had a new set delivered today to be fitted tomorrow. 👍

Old Hope V2

The front just won't bite - cleaned the pads, heated them up with a blow touring to decontaminate
Change the rotor ...

More work tomorrow - will report back

Have a set in the front in the t-130, really happy with them , nice and quick to bite and are much better than the nukeproof sintered I tried before.

I always use Uber bike pads , never had a bad set.

Oddly Uberbikes don't supply anymore ... off to try and bed them in, up and down the road.
Its on discobrake rotors (a stainless rotor is a stainless rotor ..)

Slightly better now on a older rotor

After heating up the pads with a blow torch to de-contaminate, cleaning the disc, exchanging the disc, bleeding the brake, I changed the brake pads.
It was the brake pads

what did you swap to ? Are you feeling it's the pads or were they contaminated causing the issue ?

I changed to some Discobrakes sintered. Going onto the HT so it won’t do many miles.
Heating the pads with a blow torch should sort out the contamination. Esp if just GT 85 overspray.
Who knows

The brakes are old Hope V2s - not that many places to get pads
