I think the Aprilia was in the 'Experimental' class because it's 1100 cc.I felt sorry for the rider having to push it over the line

Re: 2023 World Endurance Championship
Just thought I better write a bit of a conclusion for Le Mans
A well deserved win for FCC Honda, they didn't really put a foot wrong all race and they had good luck, YARTs second place was the result of hard work and they weren't as lucky as FCC, same for BMW in 3rd. Ducati finishing was a step up for them, and a top 5 finish was impressive. SERT were unlucky, coming off badly from the incident with the FCC bike on the 1st lap and the later crash on oil, but they still came back from last place to finish 7th.
I enjoyed the race a great deal, it had a lot of drama and kept me interested for the 18 hours I watched (I slept from midnight to 06:00)
Next race Spa 24 hours in June

Re: 2023 World Endurance Championship
It's the first time in years that I've watched a 24hr race & I enjoyed the 10 or so hours that I watched. It's turned me into a Endurance fan again.
I'll be watching Spa & the Bol with interest.
On a side note, after what happened at Suzuka,it was great to see Gino Rea involved.
