Grotesque caricatures of black people given as toys to white children. And the name of them (however conveniently abridged) is a well known racial slur.

It's about as bad as it gets when it comes to educating children.

I don't want them banned by the way - allow the idiots to keep them in plain sight - all the racists can make a pilgrimage to the pub in Essex.

Knew a bloke once who used to carry around one of those tazer sticks. 500v on the end of a baton. He told me he likes to walk up to people and just zap them.

“Wow” I said, “doesn’t that really hurt?”

“No, not at all” he said, “it’s insulated at my end, I don’t feel a thing”.

Brecon Beacon gets renamed
But from Monday the Brecon Beacons national park is dropping its English language name and scrapping its logo of a fiery greenhouse gas-emitting beacon as it launches a plan designed to tackle issues in the park created by the climate and biodiversity emergencies.

No need. Go out dressed like that - big red lips, wild fuzzy hair, comical dress, tell everyone what your name is - report your findings

So you don't know?

Well if I went out dressed like that, I'd probably be taking in by some alphabet soup gender group wanting to get in on the latest fad.

And to give a little more context, the times sourced an old SM post by the owner of that pub with a picture of one of the gollies hanging by its neck from the ceiling with the caption ‘this is what they used to do in the American south’.

Not made a big thing of in the news but it's suggested that there's a bit of a 'thing' going on between the landlord and a few other likely lads. (Hardly a surprise). (Not that that will stop random speculation about BLM, yadda, yadda yadda).

On top of trying to explain where most of the £600,000 collected for the Indy campaign went, the SNP stand to lose their Westminster public funding.

https://www.heraldscotland.com/politics ... tor-chaos/
The SNP is facing the loss of more than £1million of public funds if it cannot find a new auditor to sign off its Westminster finances, it has emerged.

The party’s Westminster Group, which relies on money from the Commons authorities to pay staff wages, needs to find new auditors by May 31 to avoid a cash crisis.
What auditors would risk signing off SNP accounts in the middle of a police investigation into SNP finances?

The SNP are £bankrupt, although I expect some fudge will be found to keep Billy Bunter in pies

And it gets worse! Guess we haven't seen anything yet ...

SNP treasurer Colin Beattie arrested by police investigating party's finances

The arrest comes after Peter Murrell, the SNP's former chief executive and Nicola Sturgeon's husband, was detained by police earlier this month.

In a last-minute deal, US voting technology firm Dominion has settled with Fox News just before their defamation trial was due to begin.

Dominion had sought $1.6bn (£1.3bn) from Fox, whom it claimed spread falsehoods about its voting machines in the 2020 presidential election.

The final settlement agreed between both parties was for $787.5m.

The "real cost" of the case, Fox said, would be the "cherished" rights to freedom of speech and of the press enshrined in the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

Dominion's lawsuit argues that the conservative network sullied the electronic-voting company's reputation by airing falsehoods about the 2020 vote being stolen from Donald Trump.

Legal findings released ahead of the trial suggested that a number of Fox executives and journalists privately questioned conspiracy claims the 2020 presidential election was stolen but still put them on air.

In one series of text messages, host Tucker Carlson said the claims were both "absurd" and "insane", while another host, Sean Hannity, said privately he did not believe them "for one second".

Fox has said the words were taken out of context.

Ahead of the trial, Judge Davis ruled that the baseless claims against Dominion had already been proven false.

Fox still faces a second, similar defamation lawsuit from Smartmatic, which is seeking $2.7bn from Fox for allegedly spreading allegations that the firm helped "steal" the 2020 election.

I'm dissapointed that neither of the players beat him down with their cues, that would of been better than watching the match itself.

And it turns out he's a rich son of a rich tycoon who more than likely has the regular hypocritical carbon footprint. As usual, they're elite toffs who have a larger carbon footprint than us (if even the carbon footprint thing actually exists).
