The slightly odd thing though is that the bars are not as wide as you think that they would be. It might just be that I was used to the superduke but I think that they could be an inch wider and be better for it. I may have a look at the renthal catalogue at some point.

Re: V4 Tuono APRC
Well it was good while it lasted.
I was in a 30 doing about 20 and slowed down to let an old lady cross the road and this fuck tard drives in to me.
I’m fine. I’ll have to get the bike inspected. Really fucking annoyed.

With a bit of luck, they'll write it off, pay you out in full then offer you the salvage for £500... and it'll be fixable for £100.

That is really shit. Commiserations. I'd be spitting feathers if someone pulled a stunt like that on a bike I'd just bought.

Re: V4 Tuono APRC
It was expletive ridden.
The fluid is petrol, I’d just filled it up. The bike runs fine. I’m hoping that it’s just the tail tidy and the exhaust hanger. These aprilias are well built that’s for sure. The civic was completely fucked.
I’ll get it inspected as part of the insurance process and they’ll tell me whether anything is bent or not and if the chassis or swing arm is bent I imagine they’ll write it off.
I was sat on the road waiting for my wife to bring the van and I was thinking about what to do. If they fix it then all is good. If it’s written off I’ll think long and hard about selling the rsv and putting that money towards a new 1100 version. Ours a really good bike and I was initially mainly annoyed that it was cutting my day short. I have no attachment to the bike and hasn’t put any money in it apart from the purchase price. I’ll just buy another.
Could have been worse I guess. People in Wantage are so nice I was offered so many cups of tea by people who came out to see what the shouting was.

Commiserations.
I checked my mirrors like a good boy and he was miles behind. Must have been on his phone or something.
