Dry and sunny, but cold. That'll do me,at least they kept the gritters parked for once.

Stretched its legs, 2 hours into Wales for a burger & coffee, and 2 hours out again.
Seems a few had the same idea

Good to see a few L plates in amongst the silver tops. I see very few of those.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 5:11 pm Stretched its legs, 2 hours into Wales for a burger & coffee, and 2 hours out again.

Run out around Bewdley, Tenbury Stourport and other bits. Went to an Indian dealer, my mate quite likes the FTR 1200. They also had CF moto and moto morini and pretty nice they were.
Roads were terrible in places, pot holes, gravel and dust, not good for my contact lenses but still a great ride had on the mighty mt09.

1st decent ride of the year today.
I recently saw something about this place near Northampton, it’s an old Royal Ordnance Depot in Weedon, now used as multi business units including a couple of coffee places.
Heated seats, heated steering wheel, cruise control and cup holders have mad me a bit ‘soft’ over the winter and even with extra layers and heated grips the ride out there this morning was on the cold side of comfortable.
Talking to the owner of the Coffee Depot considering it only opened in November it was busy with a variety of visitors, and the other coffee place called Gasoline Juice was hosting a local Italian car meet.
I will definitely be adding this place to my list of destinations for future rides.
There’s also a nice little visitor centre there with a bit of a museum and displays outlining the history of the place.

I took the ZX11 off the mainstand, moved it back about 1ft & put it back on the stand... Plan is to go somewhat further tomorrow..

Was hooning down the hill this morning when some twunt decided to use the right shoulder to pass other traffic, Tangerine sized rock flew across 3 lanes & hit the ZX... Pisser is if I had been in the exact same spot on the ZRX the rock would have bounced off the tire instead of doing this...

I never knew Ford sold the Fester to the Septics. I'd have thought it was a bit small for them!

Took my bike to Wales for Easter - my first visit there on it and it wasn't a disappointment. Spent some time riding on my own and with friends.
