Anyhow. Fear not, salvation has been found in the shape of the Fairlight Players AmDram group. I know somebody who loves a bit of AmDram and she's got us tickets for Improbable Fiction. Tenner a pop and cheap beer in the village hall.

Sounds like a much better night out to me.

Never seen a poor show from either, usually superb.

But, sorry, Cheesy, saw Little Shop of Horrors at the Watermill and it was excellent.

Anyone else find this interesting ? The strange world where mathematics meets " art "

Imagine , if you had half a brain and a 3D printer , you could avoid lengthy pointless arguments on internet fora and totally de-stress

I wish I was good at maths, my old A level maths lecturer was like a poet, he would an old bloke that was crackers, but he'd write these equations like they were poetry and leave us all struggling to keep up.

Amir Khan given 2 year ban for testing positive for PEDs

Seems a bit pointless banning someone who has already retired with no realistic prospect of making a comeback?

Easy enough to model (the shape itself is not new - only the proof).

But damn. For something which can tile to infinity without ever repeating, it is actually really hard to do on a computer.

I'll be printing off a fair few of these I think...
