No, I managed to start it with the left side kick start. Most bizarre. Needed boots on mind, it's got some reasonable compression.

No, Surrey. And Warrington before that according to the DVLA doc.MrLongbeard wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 6:16 pmDidn't come from Stourport way did it?derek badger wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 2:33 pm Had the new toy delivered. Yea, my bad. I only had 45min spare and just filled the float bowl with some 32:1 premix I had in a can. Will get a proper video sorted when I'm back from Lanzarote. Only went to pay the balance today and was surprised when he said he'd load it in the van and follow me back there and then.

Went to see John Wick 4. We had free tickets and there wasn’t much else we fancied.
Not everyone’s cup of tea but we enjoyed it.
Regarding the ‘free’ tickets of course we had to have lunch, then the obligatory popcorn and drinks then the parking.
So the free tickets cost about 60 quid

Some frozen food showed up in a big styrofoam box. There were two 12x12x1in slabs of dry ice in the box, so I threw those in the pool.

Sod that, ask your mum. Anyway think we are walking down town and eating out before there train home. Sunday get on with the camperbus refit what seems to have stalled the past two weeks.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Had fantastic 4 hour enduro ride.
Bad start as puncture when set off.
Got a new tyre fitted by my pal Friday so suspected he might have nipped it.
He came and it wouldn't inflate at all.
So took wheel to his house and the tube had split alongside the inside seam. He'd partly inflated it, so no way he'd nipped it.
Luckily he'd a spare tube and we were off. Glad to get rid of the original Maxxis tyres. Super grip with the new Michelin
Had some fun
On way home we go through the castle at Teguise to get to some fun bits round the back.
The barrier was down but we squeezed around it.
Then saw 2 cars who'd become trapped behind the barrier.
So we took them back up into the grounds and showed them a dirt track that would take them out to safety.
They were very grateful

Re: What have you done today thread?
The triumph is back in 1 piece and the rough running seems to have been solved. I rerouted the fuel and vacuum pipes, I think the vacuum was pinched before, I'll book it in for an MOT and if all goes well, do the bar swap, although I'm reluctant to have tank off again (will need to replace their cable) as routing the fuel pipes correctly is witchcraft.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Got the Rockster out for the first time since July. Had a nice play on same of the smaller roads, then realised that the gearchanges were getting rougher and realised that the clutch wasn't biting correctly.
Bloody thing. Hopefully it's just a case of tired fluid, and new fluid and a bleed will sort it out. Otherwise half the bike has to come off to get at the slave cylinder, or more of its the clutch itself.
I've done it before, but it's a long job.
Also tinkered with the JAPton.... But got no further.
Now disgustedly mowing lawns.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I asked my beautiful, kind, honest, and clever ( and arguably just a bit mental ) Isabella to marry me
If you’d asked me ten, nine, eight, or even four years ago whether I would ever want to marry again the answer would have been a definite no, but ever since a rainy Sunday lunchtime in Marlow just over three years ago when we first met, Isabella has turned what was then a very good life for me into a truly fabulous one in every way and changed that view by “just” being herself
She lights up my life, every day for us really is a fun day ( and usually a school day for me too but I love her for that too) , and I want us to spend the rest of our lives together- we were meant to be.
Anyway, as you were - I apologise if I've caused anyone to vomit, and yes I know I'm soft as shite!

Continuing the long-standing tradition around these parts of punching well above your weight. Well done, that man!
